After submitting, things carry on by themselves
“Entry via form” is one of the six flow triggers. That turns a form into a process: notify, forward, write into other systems — or wait for an approval.
- Notify immediately — email, Slack, MS Teams or SMS to whoever is responsible
- Enrich the data — update the entry, link it, or pass it on with an HTTP request
- Collect an approval — a page as a flow step holds the process until someone has decided
- Produce documents — a PDF, a QR code or a calendar entry from the captured data

- Required
- The form cannot be submitted without an entry.
- Hidden
- The field is not shown but still submitted — location or source, for instance.
- Prefilled
- A default value that is already there when the form opens.
- Not editable
- The value is visible but cannot be changed.
- Own label
- A field name and description for the person filling it in, independent of the column name.
- Only allow adding files
- Existing attachments cannot be deleted.

Questions about forms
Do the people filling in my form need an account?
No. A form is shared through a link and can be filled in without signing in — by link, QR code or embedded on your website.
Where do the responses go?
Every response becomes an entry in the grid the form was built from. It is immediately available in every view, evaluation and automation.
Can I prefill fields?
Yes, in two ways: as a fixed default value in the form, or through a prefilled link that carries the values. A QR code on a machine can already say which machine it is.
Can I capture photos, files and signatures?
Yes. File fields take photos and documents straight from a phone, video capture is supported, and a signature field records a signature on the device.
Can something happen automatically after submitting?
Yes. “Entry via form” is one of the six flow triggers. The flow can notify people, write data into other systems or collect an approval.
How is this different from a page?
A form is built for quick capture. A page gives you a free layout: text, embedded views, evaluations and input fields together — and it can wait for a decision as a step inside a flow.
